Our Story
Paige and Leo met at freshman orientation at the University of Arkansas in June of 2022. It started as a totally normal dorm hangout where two people had absolutely no idea they were about to make their lives significantly more complicated.
Once the school year started they fell into the usual college routine: movies, lunch, long conversations, and eventually a first date. Which then led to the friend zone. Yes, the friend zone. Leo took it on the chin and kept showing up anyway, mostly at the library, which in hindsight was either very romantic or very suspicious. Either way, it worked.
From there things got pretty good. Football games, late nights, parties, vacations, long distance FaceTime calls, and a lot of trail hikes. On one of those hikes at Lake Fayetteville Trail Leo carved their initials into a tree.
Leo definitely did not forget about that tree. A few years later he brought Paige back to that exact spot, same trail, same tree, and proposed. She said yes, mostly because she didn't think the friend zone card would be as effective this time around. What started as a random dorm hangout turned into, well, this. A whole wedding. Let's party!
